Dermal Fillers and Dermal Fillers, oh my!! How to pick the right filler for you. Series 1 belotero

Picking a dermal filler can be daunting, there are SO many to choose from. Follow along with me and we will break it down by filler and help you find the best one.

Lets start it out with Belotero Balance. What will belotero cost and what can I expect.

Cost of belotero is average 620$ per syringe. My pricing is 550$. Belotero Balance is a dermal filler comprised of hyaluronic acid (HA). Hyaluronic acid is a natural material found throughout the body. It is modified in various ways to create dermal fillers. Belotero Balance is similar to other hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane, but with some important differences. Belotero Balance may integrate into your skin more readily than Juvederm or Restylane, making it especially suitable for superficial lines and wrinkles. It is most similar in consistency to Juvéderm Volbella. Belotero Balance may be used to treat nasolabial folds (smile lines), vertical lip lines, and marionette lines, as well as other wrinkles and skin defects.

Belotero Balance For Tear Trough Injection

Belotero Balance is especially useful for treating hollows under the eye, sometimes referred to as the tear trough. Treating the tear trough with fillers can be challenging. When most hyaluronic acid fillers are injected too superficially, the filler can be seen beneath the skin with a characteristic bluish hue. This is especially of concern in the tear trough area, since the overlying skin is thin. Belotero Balance does not have this drawback. Even when injected relatively superficially, it can be made to disperse through the skin with light pressure. Belotero Balance therefore does not appear blue beneath the skin. Juvéderm Volbella can similarly be used for tear trough injections.

Injecting the tear trough is also more prone to bruising than other areas of dermal filler injection. The tear trough can be injected with Belotero Filler using a blunt-tipped cannula. In this technique, a spot approximately 2 cm beneath the area to be injected is marked and injected with a small amount of lidocaine. A small puncture is made with a needle and then the blunt-tipped cannula is threaded to the tear trough and the filler injected. Because the cannula is blunt, it is less likely to cause any bleeding and bruising. In this technique, a certain amount of precision in location is sacrificed for the reduced trauma and bruising that results from injecting filler through a cannula. Once Belotero Balance is injected into the tear trough, it can be gently massaged to spread it evenly.

Because Belotero Balance is a hyaluronic acid filler, it can always be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, should the results not be as expected.

Belotero Balance For Superficial Lines And Wrinkles

Belotero Balance is also well-suited to inject superficial lines and wrinkles for which other fillers can be too thick, and would appear blue beneath the skin. Belotero Balance can be injected into superficial lines, either through threading or serial puncture, and then spread through the skin by rolling a cotton swab over the treated area.

In summary Belotero Balance is an excellent choice for filling in hollow eyes or tear troughs. Belotero can help provide that

elegant finishing touch to your skin treatment regimen, noticeably improving the appearance of moderate-to-severe etched-in lines and wrinkles around your mouth.

While common skin treatment options such as chemical peels and laser treatments may also be beneficial, Belotero  injectable gel integrates directly into the skin, helping to enhance the appearance of stubborn etched-in lines and wrinkles with minimal downtime.
