Try a lip flip 

The  lip flip can be an excellent alternative to fillers for patients who want a more subtle lip enhancement, as well as those who want to enhance the shape of their upper lip with minimal effort.

What is the Botox lip flip?

As the name implies, the lip flip involves using neuromodulators to enhance the upper lip. Just a few quick injections can help the upper lip relax and roll slightly upward, which allows more of the upper lip to be visible. It is an excellent alternative to fillers for patients who want a more subtle enhancement than fillers provide, or for those who want to enhance the shape of their upper lip with minimal effort.

How does the lip flip work?

To perform a lip flip, our injectable specialists make a series of injections just above the upper lip, into the orbicularis oris muscle, which encircles the mouth. Neurotoxin temporarily relaxes the part of the muscle over the upper lip, causing the lip to roll slightly upward so it appears more voluminous and defined. This muscle relaxation can also help smooth vertical lines around the lips. 

Most patients notice the effects within a few days of treatment, with full results in about one week. The effects of neurotoxin for lips lasts up to three to four months.

A safe and effective treatment to reduce the appearance of a gummy smile is the injection of botulinum toxin into the Mentalis muscle. Neurotoxin is used to relax the Mentalis muscle, reducing the over-activity of the muscle with facial expressions, speaking or chewing.

 

"Cobblestone Chin".

Also known as “golf ball chin” or as the French say, peau d’orange. Basically, some of us get lumpy or bumpy skin on our chins as we age from an overactive mentalis muscle. Cobblestone chin can be fairly easy to correct. The injected paralytic relaxes the dimples on your chin.

First and foremost, what are bunny lines?  Bunny lines are small, slightly diagonal wrinkles on both sides of the nose, right below the bridge. Not sure if you have them? Try this little test: Scrunch up your nose—see those lines down your nose? Now relax your face. Did those little wrinkles stick around or disappear? If you can see them, those are bunny lines.
